Privacy Policy This version of Privacy Policy is dated 12th January 2026
This document summarizes the Privacy Policy of the Data Disputes Mediation and Arbitration. Individual services would be supplemented with a service specific privacy Notice. The service is managed on behalf of FDPPI by its patron member Ujvala Consultants Pvt Ltd. This privacy policy is binding on Ujvala Consultants Pvt Ltd as a joint data fiduciary. This service is presented in two modes. Firstly the service is available to business entities who are required to provide a Greivance Redressal Mechanism as part of the DPDPA 2023 requirements.In this context any information exchanged about the user would be treated as "Business Contact Information" andnot personal information. Where the service is used by individuals the following information would be collected. 1.Name (For Communication) 2.E Mail and Mobile Number (For communication) 3. Particulars of the dispute (For assignment of facilities) 4. Names and contact of counter parties, proposed witnesses and suggested neutrals (For communication) 5.Any other information relevant to the booking of facilities Individual consents of third parties mentioned at the time of booking for any personal information other than business contact information would be obtained through individual privacy notices at the time of confirmation of participation from the respective individuals. The particulars of the proceedings would be made available to the person booking the facilities. In the case of Mediation, no recording would be provided. In the case of Arbitration recordings may be procided on request as a suppelmentary service. Every session would be supervised by a representative of the platform who shall be the "Registrar" for the session and shall be considered as an official duly appointed for the service with the consent of all parties concerned. The decision to appoint a Registrar is the exclusive preserve of the platform. All individuals whose personal data is being provided for the service will have the rights guaranteed under the DPDPA 2023 which can be exercised through an e-mail to the registrar. Any complaint related to the Rights may be made to the Data Protection Board through their website as and when available. The data principals shall ensure that they provide a specific contact e-mail through which they will be invoking the rights under the Act and will be subject to the dutites cast under the Act for truthful provision of information and lawful conduct. All personal data shall be retained as required for completion of the assignment and 3 years thereafter.
